Greetings all, the conversation on gun control must include the removal of all assault style weapons from gun shows and the like. Effective back ground cks at gun shows and via internet sells is also a must.
I am encouraged by the President's response to this unfortunate issue. It took Congress 12 years to act after James Brady was shot in 1981, in the attempted assassination on then PResident Ronald Reagan by John Hinkle. The Brady Bill was signed by President Clinton in Feb, 1994. Let's hope it doens't take 12-13 years to address this issue this time.
I'm happy that President Obama has been re-elected ... I'm curious to see how white back-lash will manifest itself .
