Israel apoligizes for deadly floatilla raid

Today on Occupy The Microphone, join Daisy, Gorgeous Gregg and Double A as they discuss some of today's news headlines and South Carolina issues.

Monday the SCOTUS will hear arguments over whether big pharma can make a deal with generic drug makers to keep cheaper drugs off the market which could be interpreted as price fixing. The Federal Trade Commission which is opposing such arrangements calls it "pay to delay".

Did President Obama get the Israeli Prime Minister to apologize to Turkey for an attack on a Turkish flotilla that killed nine Turkish activist trying to break the illegal blockade of Gaza in 2010?

Republicans in Congress have agreed not to shut down the federal government. A funding bill was sent to President Obama that funds the government until the end of the fiscal year.

In South Carolina news, a recount has been scheduled for the GOP primary in SC's 1st District and if a bill that recently made it pass a subcommittee in the SC House might enable South Carolinians to openly carry firearms without needing permits.

Former Green Party candidate for President Jill Stein will be our guest today. Jill Stein is also a doctor and healthcare reform has been back in the headlines with Republicans at various levels of government still opposed to implementing the new law.

This possibly more on Occupy The Microphone, news for the 99%.
